Work Relief Charity Recruitment is recruiting for the UK’s foremost charity; specialising in health related support to young people and their families.

 

Due to an exciting phase of expansion we are looking to recruit a Programme Managerfor the organisation to lead in the development and implementation of the health support services programme to young people and their families and healthcare professionals.

 

Full training provided on the subject matter which will enable the successful candidate to manage the support programme effectively.

 

Reporting directly to the CEO, duties to include:

  • Research on how specific medical issues effect young people and their families

  • Implementation and development of the project, programme and support services to young people and their families

  • Develop and deliver new support services to young people and their families as set out in the charity’s research report

  • Identify opportunities to extend existing programmes and identify gaps in current service provision

  • Developing relationships with key healthcare agencies to strengthen the programme’s standing in the sector

  • Developing content and information resources for the charity’s website

 

This is an ideal role for an experienced Programme Officer, Project Officer or Service Delivery looking for the next step in their career.

 

To be considered, applicants must have relevant experience in either a charity, not for profit organisation, NGO or from within the social care or healthcare sectors.

 

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience of managing projects and programmes within a charitable and/or health related environment

  • The ability to analyse and report on issues surrounding healthcare, conditions and the impact on young people and their families

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to report to senior level staff

  • Experience of providing administrative and logistical support to programmes

  • Excellent levels of proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

 

A full UK drivers licence and own vehicle is preferred.

 

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold a full UK driver’s licence and have access to a vehicle.
