Work Relief Charity Recruitment is recruiting for a nationwide charity specialising providing a range of self contained accommodation, housing care and support programmes to people with complex support needs.

 

Our client offers internships from time to time to people looking to gain experience of working in the voluntary sector.  The charity currently has a vacancy for an Internship based in their Leyton/Brixton offices, working with and providing support to a specific project currently being undertaken.  The Internship will provide valuable experience of working within the voluntary sector, engaging with vulnerable service users and providing services and support to the users.

 

Key duties will include:

  • Collecting information and keeping the charity’s social media up to date

  • Assisting with presentations to various groups/organisations visited

  • Assisting with the coordinating of forthcoming events

  • Undertaking desk and internet based work

 

The ideal candidates will be currently in education or recent graduates and show a strong interest in gaining experience within the voluntary sector.
