Creative Marketing and Communications Assistant - Charity

Part Time – 20 Hours per week - Permanent

£11,055.20 per annum (Circa £21,000 full time equivalent or £10.63 per hour)

 

Work Relief Charity Recruitment is recruiting a Creative Marketing and Communications Assistant for one of the world’s most recognisable charities.

 

Our client is looking for an experienced creative marketing and communications professional to develop and implement the delivery of the charity’s marketing strategy and as part of the marketing team, manage key elements of the charities strategy including producing and designing publicity materials and producing briefs for external production or design.

 

Duties to include:

• Take responsibility and overall leadership for a range of publications

• Develop the charity’s online communications

• Designing, commissioning and overseeing design work

• Development of the website and social media function including maintaining existing platforms, analysing trends and exploring and implementing new platforms for the charity

• Design and production of marketing materials including stakeholder literature, newsletters and events support material

• Placing advertisements in publications and maintaining online listings for various charity projects

• Monitor, measure and report on the effectiveness of all marketing platforms

• Work alongside various teams in the organisation of stakeholder and fundraising  events; providing a wide range of marketing materials

 

This is a super role within the charity which will inevitably lead to the successful candidate furthering a career within the third sector. We see this as an ideal role for an experienced marketing and communications professional with a proven track record of providing creative materials and managing online marketing platforms.

 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Communications and Marketing Professional and will have direct exposure to working with charitable causes:

Must haves:

• Previous experience in a marketing & communications role

• Experience and/or exposure to the voluntary sector

• Experience and knowledge of website management and design

• Experience of utilising social media in a professional capacity

• Experience of professional communications including press and public relations

• Vast experience in the production of communications and marketing materials

• Working knowledge and experience of using design software such as InDesign and Publisher

• Working knowledge and experience of using Dreamweaver and WordPress
