Work Relief Charity Recruitment is recruiting for a global youth development charity who are looking for a Major Donor Fundraising Manager to support and deliver their long-term global strategy.

 

An exciting time to join the charity, champion major donor fundraising, individual giving and secure investment in the charity’s programmes.  You will have strong fundraising experience and work with the Head of Fundraising & Marketing to achieve the charity’s goals.  This is a role for an experienced fundraiser looking to make an impact within a very dynamic charity

 

Duties will include:

  • Develop and champion a long-term Major Donor strategy

  • Secure investment in the charity’s programmes

  • Manage high level giving, maximise and coordinate peer-to-peer approach

  • Identify and develop key opportunities to grow the current individual donor base

  • Build relationships with new and existing high net worth individuals utilising events and networks

  • Take the lead on a range of events, including events team management, to encourage high net worth individuals to support the charity further

  • Conduct regular meetings with HNWI audiences with a view to securing additional support

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fundraising professional with a successful track record in securing support from high profile and high net worth individuals.

 

You will have:

  • At least 2 years’ fundraising experience in high net worth individual giving or major donors

  • Experience of developing and implementing fundraising strategies

  • The ability to communicate complex materials to a variety of audiences

  • A strong track record of influencing high profile clients / supporters 

  • The ability to build rapport and utilise strong interpersonal skills

  • Experience of leading and developing teams of staff and volunteers

  • Experience of managing high profile fundraising events
