Work Relief Charity Recruitment is recruiting for one of the world’s most recognisable charities is looking to recruit an Employment Partnership Coordinator for their Croydon Team.

 

Our client specialises in the provision of employment support, guidance and housing with homeless young people, and we are looking for an experienced Employment Partnership Coordinator to join an expanding team, supporting the innovative Employment Partnership to increase employment opportunities for people with experience of homelessness.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to create, manage and develop a rewarding programme providing employment for clients with experience of homelessness.

 

Key duties will include:

  • Identify routes into employment for service users, focusing on paid positions

  • Work alongside partner organisations to develop employment opportunities for the charity’s service users

  • Identify entry-level jobs within partner organisations for the charity’s service users

  • Expand the employment programme within existing partner companies

  • Provide training and workshops on new and existing employment services with partner companies

  • Build links with new partner organisations

  • Identify corporate support for the partnership by engaging with local businesses

  • Assess requests from other organisations to join the partnership

  • Ensure all opportunities on offer to service users are well promoted and clients are encouraged to apply for them

  • Measure the impact of the partnership

  • Ensure all organisations within the partnership remain committed through account management

 

This is a super role within the charity which will inevitably lead to the successful candidate carving a career within this organisation and charity sector. We see this as an ideal role for a successful recruitment professional or employment advisor who has understanding and/or knowledge of the issues surrounding homelessness.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • An understanding of the welfare-to-work sector with knowledge of the pathways currently open to welfare-to-work candidates

  • An understanding and experience of HR and recruitment processes

  • Direct experience of creating and maintaining employment partnerships

  • An understanding of the wide-ranging needs of homeless people, particularly as they relate to finding employment
