Work Relief Charity Recruitment is recruiting for one of the world’s most recognisable charities is looking to recruit a Customer Engagement Officer for their Croydon Team.
Our client specialises in the provision of employment support, guidance and housing with homeless young people, and we are looking for an experienced Customer Engagement Officer to join an expanding team, promoting involvement from its service users. The Customer Engagement Officer will play a vital role in finding and implementing ways of involving the customers and service users in the services provided to them by the charity.
Key duties will include:

Implementing customer involvement strategy

Attain feedback from the customers for the improvement of the service provided to them
-
Working with Quality Manager to develop and improve services based on the feedback received from the service users

Providing support services to the customer involvement panel to facilitate service improvement
-
Increasing involvement and participation from the charity’s service users
-
Promoting customer involvement through regular forums, meetings and newsletters
-
Work with external agencies and other customer involvement groups to improve the engagement strategy
This is a super role within the charity which will inevitably lead to the successful candidate carving a career within this organisation and charity sector. We see this as an ideal role for a candidate with previous exposure to working with homeless and vulnerable people in a supportive capacity.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

Experience of working with customer involvement or customer engagement groups

Experience of facilitating service user involvement groups
-
An understanding of the wide-ranging needs of homeless people

Experience and knowledge of different ways to involve customers, including event management
-
Experience and understanding of the benefits of customer involvement
