Work Relief Charity Recruitment is recruiting for one of the most recognisable charities in the world. Due to increased facilities, we are recruiting for a Cleaner / Housekeeping Assistant for the charity’s hostel accommodation and facilities.

 

Working as part of a small team we need an experienced cleaner / housekeeping assistant to undertake the following duties:

• Maintaining cleanliness of the premises

• Cleaning reception, communal and office areas

• Report any maintenance or security issues to management

• Undertaking high quality cleaning work to health and safety requirements

• Assisting in setting up conference facilities

• Assisting with storing guests’ belongings

• Ensure cleaning materials are fully stocked and stored accordingly, reporting any needs for supplies

 

This is a fantastic role for an experienced cleaner with additional responsibilities.

 

The ideal candidate will have cleaning and/or housekeeping experience and must have:

• Cleaning experience from within a hostel or hotel environment

• Availability to work weekend nights 10pm – 4am

• Experience of cleaning a busy, customer focussed environment such as a Hotel, Hostel, Hospital or similar

• Knowledge of health & Safety guidelines and COSHH

• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and pride in their work

• Excellent levels of spoken and written English

• The ability to work well as part of a team
